You can switch your debit account to Santander in different ways, depending on whether you want to move all or part of your direct debits.

A fully digital process

It takes less than one minute to complete the request to switch.

Request to switch.

Simple process

Go to your Online Banking and access the bank switching service, and then select to move everything over to Santander.
Request to switch your direct debits to us and authorise us to contact your payers.
Sign the request to switch banks.
When we receive the details about your direct debits from your original bank, we may ask you for more information as required by companies to complete the switch.

If you only want to move some of your direct debits, we have signed an acuerdo con Qwist so that you can arrange the service with them, through a fully digital, free-of-charge process. How? It's simplicity itself!

Go to your Online Banking and access the bank switching service, and then select to move only your direct debits with Qwist.
Before you start using the service on Qwist, you must read and agree to its Terms and Conditions.
Qwist will notify payers within a maximum of 72 hours, and contact you if they need more information.

Please note that some issuers do not allow us to manage the switch of direct debits for you, or they will ask us for additional information to complete the switch. If this happens, we will notify you and will help you to complete the process.
